Let's build a safer roundabout
The City of Colorado Springs is making a big change to the intersection at Fontanero and 31st Street, replacing the four-way stop with a roundabout.We support the project. We also want to make sure the new intersection is safer for the many people who walk through it.We’re asking the City to include two additional pedestrian safety measures in the design:1. Pedestrian-activated flashing lights2. Raised crosswalks
We need you to do two things:
1. Sign our List of Supporters

2. Email the City's Project Team

Why is this needed?
We want pedestrian access to be accounted for before construction begins. We don't want to wait for an accident to happen to demand change later.And the data backs us up:
